Minding Your Body's Business" (Hampton Roads Publishing) now in its second edition, a world traveler and "dare to" individual, who brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and wisdom to her presentations. She holds an MFA from Drake University with a Lifetime Teaching Credential, is represented in "Who's Who in American Art" as well as "World Who's Who of Women." Since 1992, she's host/produced the popular weekly television talk show, Evolving Ideas - reaching millions of households with her education-beyond-the-classroom series.

Ms. Smitha is currently CEO/President of Webworks, and for many years was owner/artist/craftsman of Elaine Smitha Fine Jewelry in Newport Beach, CA. She's worked for the Quaker Oats Company, Look Magazine, and volunteered at the YMCA. She is also a private pilot.
